Well we are lucky to have Chris easternkris scoring for us and he has generously was able to fit you in even this late.  

So good luck for the season and i'll be posting up the results shortly so you and all the players can see how you got on in the 1st week!  

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a good week and the weather is being kind to you where ever you are in the World.
It's really very pleasant here in Vienna, the sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky although a little fresh with a real feel factor of (-1).

Moving swiftly onto the results.

Week 1

So there you have it.
Now if we were to take an average of the prices put forward we have the following results.
Average Price was £4,481 (-£2,219) compared with the asking price of £6,700.

Not bad, not bad at all for the first week where we have a lot of new players and some older ones who might not be match fit just yet!

Wow nice car but better for the money I believe. However now I am calibrated for the next round let the competition kick in and me fail miserably

I do apologize for the layout of the results but with modern day devices it's simply impossible to post up the results on a laptop for example and for them to look smart on all other devices and vice versa. I know I've tried!

I do the results on my laptop always because I simply need to but when I look at them on (my) smartphone they look like cräp!😕

Maybe I can take a screen shot of them on my laptop where they look good and post just that.?🤔

But the information is what's important as far as I'm concerned. 😉

You know Ken I've posted several warnings about supply and demand over here.

It's classic supply and demand.
I'm seeing about 4 or 5 cars hitting the market nationwide per week right now and maybe two of those are being readvertise.

If I look at the price of original but used parts in the UK they've gone up by say 10% to 15% this year but here and in Germany we're looking at more like 25%.

That has nothing to do with the weak Pound because I follow the market in Euros.

Now I know I spent there months in Hospital and I've not been driving as much as I normally would but in Vienna and Lower Austria I've seen between 8 and 10 other Mk1's this year.

There are like chicken's teeth at the moment for some reason, maybe next year it'll be a story! 😉 👍🏼

So it safe to say prices here are a fair bit higher than the UK 🇬🇧 at the moment. 😉

What was the sellers 'Asking Price'?  

The mileage is wrong between the advert and the dash photo, 186k. Looks tidy and a good advert I recon he's after strong cash for this one £7107 for me 

I will go £3468.

I request a swards inquiry about week placings.

I was fair chuffed I was awarded a bonus point for first stab at a price.

Or as in F1 the stewards did not like the award as getting up early on a Sunday to take part is akin to overtaking a Ferrari on the last lap of a GP it may seem fun but not in the spirit of the game.

 

I think you've reposted the same details from last week, or that's a very weird silver!
I'm going to go with £8250, because I plucked that number out of thin air.

That is one nice car. Not sure what the reference to candles is all about - I know Mk1 lights are pretty rubbish!

Being well off the mark last week I am going with £6995.

I'll have a bash with  £5900.
I prefer the silver one from last week though

I was waiting for someone to spot that as that was going to be my surprise bonus point for the week.
In fact it was a mistake by the seller, all be it a small one.

Again nice looking car with some clean parts. Well with last week's being so high in price I'm puzzled so gonna go mid way  5250£ as it's not Gti. And with wrong screen grab throwing me of the trail some more.
