If you're fitting the screen yourself I'll be interested in some pictures of the process and advice. Mine's cracked and needs replacing

hi there
ive fitted it today took all of 30mins start to finish glass was in 10mins
real easy if you go slow take it easy
you need the right rope tool to get the seal over the frame with the right tool its pop
you could just use rope I guess 6mm diameter should do it

no pics of fitting just a before and after shot
but can talk you through it my screen cost just £65 collection only
1.first remove wipers completely
2.peel the seal back from inside while firmly pushing screen out work steady all the way round
3.clean the frame and repair repaint if nes
4.use plenty of fairy liquid on the frame
5.soak the rubber seal in hot water and liquid for 20 mins
6.totally clean the rubber seal
7.put the screen on a large table and fit the screen seal all the way on
8. lube up the seal where it will sit on the frame with fairy
9.get your rope 5mm or 6 mm diameter thread it in the groove on the seal where the frame will sit all way round
10.get a mate list in postion get mate to apply slight pressure from outside and tell him to keep the window in place
11.from inside take hold of rope and gently pull so the seal pops over the frame pull the rope slowly while your mate follows you round applying slight pressure
12 bobs your auntie it should be in now
13.check its sitting inside the frame nice all way round
like with most things more lube the better
be warned though too much pressure and the screen can crack
best left to a pro if your not sure

Excellent!
Its Melbourne Cup long weekend in Victoria, Australia and I've been waiting for some settled weather so I can swap the screen out.
Looks like Tuesday will be the day.
