these are triggered by the rev counter feed to the fusebox from the coil negative, for starters check the wires on the coil are correct you should have the black wires on the positive side labelled + r 15, and the red/back and/or green wires on the negative side labelled - or 1.

if thats good check behind the fusebox for bodged up wiring, the red/black goes to the engine loom plug D/26. depending on age/spec it may also be fed to the idle boost relay above the fusebox, make sure the right relay is fitted in the socket if so

number / vw part number/ kraker / GSF
2 = 443906059A/321906059D/E = no limiter (superceeded by 321906059F)
3 = 443906059 = no limiter (superceeded by 321906059E/F)
62 = 443907385B/321906059G / 24.1400.30 & 3.300.220 / ? = 6.5k limiter
63 = 321906059F / 24.1400.20 / 935VG0090 = no limiter
65 = 321906059H / 24.1400.40 & 3.300.230 / 935VG0080? = 6.3k limiter

Hoping that this part will be my saviour. Had the 321906059A in the car, but it had some water ingress (rusted to heck and intermittent). Couldn't find direct no limiter replacement anywhere. No limiter on the rotor arm, so picked up one of the last two H versions available on heritage parts. Fingers crossed it will get me started and keep the engine going.

Thought I best say a quick cheers for vampiring the forums to get my golf back on the road!
