My mk1 caddy project

Started on the inside today and got bed done. The bed isn't perfect and has a few patches on it but it's solid now and it's getting covered in wood so couldn't see the point in going over the top with it.

Know what you mean I be doing the same.  Wish I was that far on doing my bed I'm on welding up my n/s/f wheel arch  then both rear wheel arch bottoms

I know, I got it in November thinking it was a couple of patches and a bit of a paint job. The more I started to poke the more I had to do. Finally got light at the end of the tunnel 😂😂

Wish I could but thank god floor sills door posts mint this is my worst bit now n/s/f wheel arch bits cut out ready just weld up now

Just bought these and a set of 165 45 15s to go with. Proper excited like a child!!!

Think Porsche slate grey with a tan interior, already got the interior sorted!

Looking forward to seeing this finished, I used to own this caddy, I knew there was few bits of rust on it and that passenger side rear sill always looked a bit dodgy, but never knew there was so much rot hiding in it, especially the floor!!!
Great work and i'm glad it's getting some love, loved that car, only sold it because I got a work van and it was parked up for 2 months!!!
The colour choice sounds good 👌(although I like the burgundy 😂)
I'm sure I saw your old mk1 in Keighley a couple of yrs back on a back street near a little doctors practice we was doing some work on!
My girlfriend recovered the front seats the caddy for my birthday, it's actual ostridge leather, not sure how well they have faired????
I think I still have the matching rear door cards if you was selling the fronts? Your welcome to them for free

Not BBS but a similar looking wheel with a zero lip

Trial fit of seat and polished my door handle

Bit of lowering all round and spacing out 30mm on the rear and good to go….
