Still have this old beast, just moved on the 13's and got these 16" Michelin steels. Just need to dial the ride height and get spacers as they're et49.

It's a nice old beast and I think you should keep it (at least until I can afford to buy it )!

Like them, what width are they? Are they catching the coilovers?

Think I answered you on Edition, Unless 2 ChrisL's asked me the same thing.

But yes, the front are more than catching them, need 15mm and 25mm to dial them in proper I reckon, I could go more but I'm a tuck man at heart.

How it looks now, I'm taking it off the road in September to tear it apart and 'ruin' it.

Someone wanna rescue it before I rape it of it's originality.

Details man, details… what's the prospective plan?

Body is staying exactly as it is, I don't want to take out any dents or give it fresh paint. Just freshen up the seals, new screen etc.

Drivetrain, definately big block, even tho so many people have told me to keep it small block…. I'd like 2.0 16v abf really but may go 20vt. Upgrade brakes etc and replace bushes throughout.

I'm offering this back up for sale, I'm looking for 8.5k no more, no less.

Yes I'm sure most think that's a high price, but that's what will make part ways with it.

If anyone wants any more info/pictures etc then give me a holla.

If it doesn't go by summer end, it's getting the treatment.

What wheels are they?

Does your bro have a project thread for his bay?

Michelin steels on the Mk1.. unsure of where or what they come from.

No bud he doesn't have a thread as far as I'm aware…one hell of a sorted bus tho!

Engine is out. Any 1.1 owners need anything off it?

Sort of a boring update as I've done nothing with the car.

But I have a G40 donor vehicle turning up Sunday, so it's staying small block!

Picked up the donor vehicle.

Shame to take it apart really, I love this shape polo.
