Very envious of what's in your garage/workshop, some lovely cars and plenty of equipment.

Excellent work. I've said it before for other spotless builds, I look at them and think I should have spent more  effort on mine, then I give myself a slap and accept my limitations (on time/money/skill).
What engine are you running in that? It doesn't look like a 1.8 DX.
I love the photo with the reflection of the Lancia in the paint work!

Cheers mate.

Engine is 2.0 3a bubble block out of the audi 80,  the rest is 1.8 dx, ported and polished head, miltec stainless exhaust,g60 front brakes , rear disc conversion with 9" servo everything else is standard.

Start of my mk1 gti restoration UPDATED

Eurocarparts sell them but they go in and out of stock so just set up en email alert and buy them as soon as they come in. I bought front and back and they look fine. Heritage sell them but actually say the quality is... variable.

I bought Euro ones for mine. Needed some mods to the brackets to get them to fit nicely, but I'm quite pleased with them. I still need to trim off the mold flashing with a sharp knife. If you have the original metal work, I wouldn't have thought it would be that hard to fit the new plastics to the original metal work. Appreciate they aren't original though.

Cheers guys I actually have aftermarket ones from heratige, But think I'm going to try and restore some genuine ones if possible.
