list of problem with new sight help

since the sight has been changed over to new one  I have been have problems with the sight freezing not loading and needing to refresh also overlapping of text this was never a problem with old sight need held


 

I use a whole range of devices with Windows, Mac and Android but I not seen the website freeze.

However I'm using at the moment a 5 year old Asus Transformer and I do have the same issue as you regarding the over lapping.



Now I put that down to the fact that this old device is still on Android 4.0.3



So what OS and Browser are you using?

We have the overlapping text on the fix list - hopefully fixed soon.
I have not had any site freezing - no one else has reported that either - what pages does it freeze on ? What OS and browser are you using ?

I get freezing insofar as the page will load by jumping around. The text will initially appear small, then momentarily disappear to reappear larger, then disappear again before staying constant.

(Also the overlapping text)

Windows10 / Firefox on this desktop, but does it on another in Chrome. Problem is only on the MK1OC and started with the upgrade.

well I have a mac with parallels that runs windows 10 also running  internet explorer 11
what my pc keep doing is if click on a topic the page will go white and you will need to refresh to see it

Does it behave the same on the native Safari browser on the Mac ?

Site opens ok after few seconds to reconfigure on chrome. But chat function is pitiful. Not sure if only because 90% I'm on phone galaxy 7. But even on windows laptop seems slow and delayed in repeating replies 

I'm seeing the same problem with chat.
Very slow to respond or not at all. 

Android phone using Chrome. 
Windows 7 laptop using Chrome.
Ipad using Safari. 

Same symptoms for all three. 

Not related I believe,  but I'm now getting multiple emails for the same PT in an in-line post.

The last one I received four times over a one hour period. 

Latest Android version and Chrome. 

Update on this.

I've noticed in the last few days that the email notifications I get when I'm following a post are sometimes delayed for hours.
Across devices and browsers.

Not all strangely enough, now it could be gmail etc…
But I've not seen it before, so I thought it best to mention it.

The forum website updates fine.
No big deal for me!  

Some emails are delayed by Sparkpost, mainly to the servers that are run by Microsoft like hotmail - they have a hard policy of number of emails sent in an hour and Sparkpost will continue to grow that number while still keeping within the bounds that stops Microsoft rejecting them.

I have not seen chat slow down at all or multiple emails .

We have another bunch of fixes ready to go this week - so lets see if that helps first.

Tried multiple times but with the same result.

Yea, that was me - I have done a chat upgrade - it worked for me between devices using my wife's account and mine.

I added me car (http://vwgolfmk1.org.uk/index.php?page=car_register&type=desc&car_id=1090) but when I go to Manage Cars, it says No Records found.

Please can someone look into this as I want to amend my vehicle details.

That is because you have created a second account on the site rather that use the original account that the car register record is tied to.
