Preparations are underway at Oulton Park



As the Fun Cup kicked off its season at Brands Hatch, only a few weeks to go until they will be on track at Dubworth

I should be going with mine as well. Mine is in the garage next week and getting it's MOT done at the same time so should be ready for the event. Owned the car for about two years now and this will be my first time getting it on the road.

My friend who's going with the R32 owners club has ordered my ticket so I'll be there on the Sunday. Can anyone tell me if the club stand form on the Oulton Park website needs filling out or not?

Cheers. Reg is A911 WWP. The cars in at my garage on Wednesday for a new fuel pump and the MOT which I'm certain it will pass. I'll let you know if anything changes.

The stand will be in the in-field, which is around a 5-10 minute walk depending whereabouts you are camped. Ideally, you can come into the camping area friday night, setup, drive out saturday morning, come in the other entrance and drive into the in-field and can leave the car there til sunday if you wish.

That's super. Will do that will I get the pass when setting up camp and wil the mk1 club all try camp in the same vicinity. Not cause I'm scared or out  . Just a thought, but no worries if it's too much mither with how the organisers set up, really looking forward to it, and meeting club members 

I'll chuck a big flat up in the camp area when I arrive mate and anyone can join me - I'll hand out the passes

Just a heads up - drove down A49 past Oulton Park today. Notices saying stretch from Hungry Horse to Sandiway crossroads is closed all day on 7th May for resurfacing. May cause delays if you coming from Warrington/motorway. Have a good weekend everyone. Would have been there as I'm local but they don't allow dogs in the ground and mine goes everywhere with me!

Right then people, I got the passes, I'll be setting up camp from 3pm onwards on the Friday and I'll be bringing the clubs BBQ with me for cooking up some grub (the half a car one) bring some coal and some food if you wanna cook Who's camping all weekend then?
