I'm really happy with it. Excellent paint finish and the engine overhall means its running better than it has for a decade.

Looking good.

You can use these car everyday, mines is my daily drive and it lives outside and does a 50 miles a day come sun, rain, snow etc never let me down and always enjoyable drive for the last 20 years I've been using it.  They are meant to be driven so get out there and enjoy it!

A few years since I last posted any updates…  This year seemed a good time to tidy up the suspension and running gear.

I wonder how many people have unrestored 26 years old+ running gear?  Perhaps I could have waited another 10 years :)

Anyone have any advice on an exhaust option for the clipper?  I'd want something quite and long lasting. Cheers Jez

After another winter in dry storage a few more things ticked off the To Do list this Spring.

20210402_115648.jpg

    Gear Linkage replaced
    Rocker cover repainted
Exhaust gasket replaced - no more floor board squeak and thanks to this thread
    New Hydraulic tappets

Tappet change has not quietened them down so going to look at swapping out the oil pump and doing another oil change before diving into more engine work.
