Can we have page navigation in the forums at the top of the page as well, currently to go to the last post you gave to scroll right down to the bottom.

x2

Retro rides is very good at this. As you scroll down the page the 'go to page' buttons stay at the top of the screen.

Not sure if this has been covered.

But I'm begging you, please can we have the ability to turn off or on permanently the 'Mobile Version' of the software and the 'Chat' option?

It's driving me f ing nuts on my smartphone.
I don't need either of the them.

But the darn mobile version keeps forcing me to turn my screen through 90 degrees to then scroll down to uncheck the box to turn it back to find the preview button to finally hopefully preview what I have written before I make the post.

What is the longest sentence ever?

My screen is BIG enough for even my old eyes to see.
I'd really be pleased if we could have this option in the settings good people!

Thanks for thinking about it at least. :)

Sent from my Mobile.

Is there any way of getting the Forum Search results to display in reverse chronological order (ie most recent first)?
If you are looking for info it can take ages to go through all the posts skipping over the ones from 5+ years ago.

What about a wall? Bit like facebook, so you write a post, pick what section you want it in, let's say breaking for example, and the post gets saved on the breaking section but is placed on the wall also, same for all categories! So every new posts from the sight from all areas will be on this wall? And you can comment on them! Hope you know what I mean!!?? May be an idea, or not 😂 just a thought

Good idea! I mentioned it on page 1

This is unlikely to get featured. We were running through the wish list at our committee meeting on Saturday, and it's not likely to be present on release 1 of the new site

As Mr Bottom above has said, this isn't something we're going to be able to put into this update, it requires a lot of addition to the database and we don't have the budget to work with - it is however on file for the future.

I will post something up in the near future to what we have decided :)

1983 Cabriolet (daily pain in the bum)

Haha don't apologise - great minds and all that, was only making light of it.

Yeah I agree with your great idea!      It would be a good thing to add, but those that know more than me about techy stuff explained the other day the work involved so we'll have to wait a while longer for it.

Keep any more thoughts coming though, they're all appreciated
