so just a quick update really as its moving slowly as im stacked out with work.  finally got the underside finished in lacour so the underside can start going back together. and got the steering rack mounted with new poly bushes.


having a problem with handbrake cables on the mk2 calipiers i brought mk2 scirocco 16v cables and they seem too short

Carnt beat it it looks good when it's all fresh paint. Just Carnt wait to get it back on wheels so it can get sent off to paint shop.

Thanks all, just awaiting front poly bushes so I can fit that up.

so got the poly bushes and had a few hours before work over this week and got the brakes overhauled and the new suspension on so front end finished. just fuel system to do next then i can get it off the spit jig

Keeping a well trained eye on this, do love a good mk1 G60!

so had a few hours spare and got a g60 fuel filter bracket made up and mounted that and run the braided fuel lines.



I also finished the brake lines  


all finished under there for now so off the roll over jig, no to get on and test fit new wings, bonnet and boot before paint

got the bonnet and drivers front wing on to check fitment and all is good.



just got the boot to try on and then to find a decent passanger wing  :dry:
