I like mikes idea above. We could all use them.

Also what about a sleeveless body warmer? With the logo on the left breast. Like the rain jackets. These would be smart and also handy when working outside or in the cold garage but still keeping your arms free.

This is a good idea as I'm after a body warmer lol, but one with out logo is fantastic plus we could all be wearing them at AGM (lol part of the same family)

Denia mentioned in a post on GAP2 this week about wanting to get hold of a club windscreen sun shade for the summer months, so that he can protect the dash from burning rays and to try to keep the internal temp down when parked up (apparently he is using a Loony Toons one at present, whereas Mike - golfcabrio uses a set of towels, its amazing what you find out on this site)
Admittedly both Denia and Mike spend a lot of time in the sunshine - Spain and Austria where the temps kick up a bit in the summer rather than rainy old Blighty but these might be a good idea, plus will be a good advertisment for the club.

These are a great idea! Keep the MK1 cool and promote the cool Mk1 club - its a win win.

We will be posting some designs on here shortly :)

I've got one of these folders to place on the dash when you're in a short term parking zone.
But there's more to it than that!

Front

Back

Very handy to have (apart from the clock) as it opens up and has 4 or five sleeves inside for documents and stuff.
I have a copy of my insurance papers in there with a form pre printed to give someone in the event of an accident with all my car details etc…
Rescue telephone numbers including a copy of my OAMTC (AA or RAC) membership.
A bit grim but contact details in case of an emergency and a couple of lens cleaners for my glasses!
Fits in the bottom of the glovebox a treat!

Now I don't think that these are from VW although I could be wrong of course.
But I do think that our logo on them as seen on the front and back would look fairly good.

Practical and with quality advertising for the Club tastefully done as usual!

Hi mate, long time no chat.
Yes is the answer!

Most Cities and towns, even some Villages have this system. Not places like Vienna or ot large ones.
You can park between 20 minutes and in some small places upto 2 hours If you have on the car this type of sign or clock on your car.

They are not so bad as the UK but just be careful, that's all.
