I dont see mk1 golf gti,s as classic cars in the way i would see a triumph herald (for example), mk1s are made to be modded and i suppose how they are done is up to the owner, but my pet hate and this applies to any fwd car, wider wheels fitted to the rear,

I cant comprehend any of those they're just indecent, crude, dirty little monsters….. The green hatch extension made me chuckle though

This is the roof which is now on my sportline. When this picture was taken it had a vr6 turbo engine in the front, the guy did all the work himself and he spent a fortune on it. The car has now been chopped up and front end made into a BBQ.
