I saw this for sale, would have had it to go with my other one if I had the money, since its reg is almost the same as mine.  Good luck with it!

Cheers.

Bodywork wise she's near perfect with only a tiny bit of surface rust on the N/S rear arch. Currently getting the bits and pieces together for the conversion like front brake conversion 256mm/280, rear setup, anti roll bars etc etc.

Hoping to have it done for the shows next year.

Will update the thread soon…………………

Just a small update today. Have been sanding down and painting up a few engine bits in black high temp paint. It's my first real go at this sort of thing so it's not perfect but I'm pleased with it.

Tomorrow I'm gonna attack the inlet manifold.

Oh btw does anyone know where I can get the little roundish plastic bits that go on the injector holes of the inlet manifold??

Cheers

Managed to spend some time on the MK1 today and between us, me and Jonp managed to get the engine out and sort a few things out. I'll let the pics do the talking. Next up is moving the O/S engine mount to accomodate the 20vt.

Before……

After………….

And a few bits to sell in due course…………….

15" Axis OG wheels with stretched Nakang rubber..

Topfill rad……..

2 babies tucked up together

And the temporary steelies…….

I've got a 1.1 engine sitting there doing nothing now so if anyone needs bits off it please let me know. Minus the top fill rad of course.

Cheers

Smudger

Indeed it is mate. Went for them as can run 256mm discs with them so can run 14's if I want to.

Cheers Piers. Slow moving at the moment until the O/S engine mount has been moved then it's full steam ahead. Hoping to have it ready for the shows next year.

Engine nearly all back together now bar the rocker cover which is off for a clean up and paint.

Also upgraded the KO3 for a KO3s. See my for sale thread if you're after a KO3 turbo.

Plan to put the engine in 2 weeks today.  :D  :D  :D
