Aha - that makes sense. Trouble is, when I was doing all this stuff the first time around in the 80's, and - I think - doing a fair bit of that sort of driving (that's the sort of thing plod said to me a couple of times, anyway!), such enhancements weren't around - so far as I knew anyway.
