Ummm, I'm not sure I dare ask this, but why the bracing across the top of the front struts? Only for cabs, or a good thing anyway? Never saw this when I had original cabs or GTI's?

If you have to ask, you never drove it like you stole it…..
Stops the roll feel on corners.

Aha - that makes sense. Trouble is, when I was doing all this stuff the first time around in the 80's, and - I think - doing a fair bit of that sort of driving (that's the sort of thing plod said to me a couple of times, anyway!), such  enhancements weren't around - so far as I knew anyway. Do they make much difference?
