Mk1 Berg cup , the never ending project .

Nice updates, cage is looking well proper now.

Love the diy front brace, sadly the canadian ones were silly money to have imported.

loving the work on this mk1, makes me want to build a track car now.

I'd like to build a track car right now too , this one's on its 3rd year already - money eh

Cheers mike , drew up the design myself , it only cost me a couple of beers to my mate in the machine shop for cutting the end plates

Did you find the front engine mount bush now sits tighter with the brace spacing it out more from the chassis?

I noticed yours looks a snug fit but mine has a bit of a gap between the bush and the cup shape mount, like it doesn't sit in it fully. I did think it might be the rear mount needing loosening of and getting someone to roll/rock the engine forward on it's axis while it is tightened? (ramp job).

i usually find the engine finds its happy place on its own mike , the front snubbers designed to move anyway so i wouldnt worry to much .

cheers

EDIT: i am wondering if the rear mount may be the cause as it has a bit of adjustment?
