had ecu built by Toyotec  on cgti and rubjonny built my loom pm then. plug and play

yep all fitted with a polo gti 2006 selector(cables are a perfect lenght) and it feels like a brand new car changing gears. i get some pitcures up trm

sorted out a garage now. took doors bonnet wings all of for easy access as its tight in there.

start stripping every thing of today to get ready to install some forged conrods. never done rods before so be intresting. had to finish early due to the 2 sump bolts by the flywheel. there on the wonk need to get a small thin long 10mm socket. plus got to go and get my rebuilt ko4 of mk1234golf. will update when my rods come.

well what a day finshed fitting the forged rods all went well just followed the youtube 1.8t engine assembly videos . now just waitng for turbo and manifold from the states

well where do i start been a hectic month. when it came to install the forged conrods i was shocked to see that the ebay engine i brought had a cambelt failure sometime in past. engine ran fine when i first turned key drove it from garage to outside where i was working on it. seems like it had a cambelt failure and a another head was just put on. all sorted now as ive rebuilt most of here some pictures

old pistons




cylinder 3 bore



head some bent valves



bores honed



pistons from a low milage passat aeb engine same pistons as agu 20mm wrist pins




new pistons installed along with forge rods and racing bearings ( see my wallet its low :) )

cylinder head rebuilt by a m8 of my had new

new exhaust valves
new valve guides
valves remachined
head skimmed
dechoked
new tensioner



epytec g60 adaptors




so this weekend fit it all up

well finally my turbo and manifold are here. so now i can finish the car off and get it on the road. i went for a k04 hybrid frankenturbo f23 with a rentless v3 manifold. also on the way from frankenturbo are 550cc bosch injectors. heres some pitures of what came

my injectors came today ford racing bosch 550cc ev14 with ev1 adaptors 80 quid for the load from franken turbo bargin

Few questions re intercooler pipe routing and expansion tank. Nothing major ;)
