How did you go with the windscreen seal replacement?
I've just purchased a new windscreen to fit, did you remove and re-install it your self or did you hand it over to the professionals?

I'd appreciate some tips regarding the removal/re-install.

A lovely cabby!

Hi there, I handed over to the professionals..  I rang a non franchised place local to me, 2 guys came out and did it on the drive for £50, took less than 20 mins..

I thought £50 quid was a bit much , but its done now and they did treat some small bits of rust with some stuff they had with them

On with another job - electrical gremlins with the lights.. I've knew that the headlamp connector block was dodgy years ago and bought a replacement off funk-star but never got round to fitting it.

Got the old man round again to help me out..  Found some other dodgy electrics that an auto-electrician  had done a few years back. My dad did them properly :-)

Old block had never had a light, been like this since I have had it

new connector block fitted - 16 wires all properly connected and protected with heat shrink

Its always been the plan to let my car go to someone who has more time to look after her..  here are the latest pics taken yesterday.  There is a for sale add in the cars for sale section.

I have done all the little jobs I never got round to with the exception of a re-spray

And now probably the driest cabby out there with 100% no leaks :-)

Did you find the new sound proofing etc made a difference…?

Cant believe your'e selling, would have had her off you in a blink had I not bought mine a couple of months ago.

Lovely car and a genuine Rivage hood cover spotted in the pictures, rare as rare things.
