there has been some progres but its all hardly noticable. full exhaust system is back on, new braided fuel lines are on and after connecting the battery today it pumped fuel all over me so that was bad but good!! more of the wiring has been done feeling like the engine maybe firing up soon fingers crossed thanks to paul c. i really want to fit the dashboard so i can check all the wiring is correct and all functioning correctly.

so today when i got to the shop i decided i needed to fit the fuel injection and get it running. put in a can of fuel in and then tried turning it over. much to my disamy it would not fire so i had a look at the fuel injection and the pin under the plate needed some adjustment and hey presto she ran, no smoke!! i then fitted the dash and got that all fitted into place and bolted in and seems to be functioning fine.
so heres a few pics including the ones where i drove the car outside into the snow, no brakes was interesting lol.

yesterday i managed to get some of the interior back in,the rear is looking like a car again. i will be investing in a new roof lining and vinyl interior kit from newton commercial as mine is tired but cannot afford it this month. has anyone bought said kit and if so whats the quality like?
back to the update, i believe the seats for my car well that came with the car are from a scirocco poss mk1 as they are vinyl and i had the original rear bench. so i stripped the rear bench and then stripped the vinyl rear bench and put the vinyl seat onto the frame of the original set and it turned out very good i m pleased with it. well anyway whats now in is the rear side shelves, rear bench, carpet centre console, rear cards and seat belts. should of gone in today but a massive hangover has put a stop to that !!
heres a few pics
oh and i thought i d add a pic of the new a3 picked up wednesday
