my own fault should nt leave stuff lying about dont even know how they got the axle over the fence it was soooooo heavy !!!!

hi, just thought i would say pretty good day but also bad got my paint lovely mars red but cost me alot lol!!!! also replaced the sound deadening on the passenger foot well which was removed a few months back. started to flat the wings and doors and inside for painting. pics to follow as i get them .

what sound deadening are you using phil?

not sure really its like the original like .... for want of a better term tar !! bought it from the local paint suppliers box of 10 sheets for about ?15 plus vat i ll takee a pic tomorrow if i go up

you don't see many people using the original style stuff, they usually go for dynamat etc.

hi. very good day today feel i ve made alot of progress. finished the sound deadening in the front, did some wet flattin of the wings then i painted the inside of the car in lovely fresh mars red!!!  once i d done that i started preping the engine bay and puttin on all the fresh seam sealer.

enjoy the pics!!!









tomorrow is hopefully get the engine bay painted !!!!!!

well the inside is pretty easy did nt need to get a good finish dont think i ll be doing the outside want a top notch finish.  :lol:

hi people more updates been in the body shop for about 16 hours this weekend and have doen alot i think.

today i have painted the inner wings and rear inner arches, painted the engine bay and then did the backs of all the panels . this was my first time spraying and thought it turned out to be a good job. there is a few little runs but very small and not in obvious places but for a first time very impressed with myself.
