Well my wheels were looking a bit down in the dumps so spent an hour on one of them earlier.

Everything was done by hand which is hard work.

The wheel isnt perfect and will still need a bit of polishing but my shoulder was in agony so called it a day.

Anyway i started off with some Simoniz to remove some of the light marks as i was running low on my Meguiars stuff. The Simoniz isnt good enough for removing a lot of oxadisation in my opinion.

Then i moved onto the Meguiars which removes everything with ease. Only problem with it is, it leaves its own marks (like holograms)

Finally i finish off with some Zeppelin Mirror Finish which removes the marks caused by the Meguiars and it leaves a lovely shine.

This is before

This is after

Wow, great finish! Do you think you'd need all three steps  in the future?

Thanks pal.

Yeah i normally use the 3 step all the time.

As theres no laquer on the wheels they mark easier when washed, or they get water spots ect so the first stage is required to get rid of them.

Step 2 (what i just used) adds the shine.

Step 3 is wax that slows down the oxadisation ect

Ah fair enough. As step 3 was removing the film from step 2 I didn't know if you could skip step 2! lol

Step 3 is the wax.

First step removes marks.

Second step gives the shine.

Third step seals it all

Sorry mate, was getting mixed up with the comments off facebook.

the post above is the 3 step kit from zeppelin.

The pics of the products used above are just random bottles i had left.

The meguiars product gets rid of the oxadisation but it leaves marks.

The zeppelin stuff just gets rid of the marks the meguiars makes of its own.

On its own the zeppelin i used above wont get rid of the oxadisation (the 3 step kit does tho)

Hope that makes sense
