had a couple hours free this moring, so i removed the driveshafts, the exhaust and the gear linkage

8) all by myself, and im not a mechanic. (im actually proud of my-self ops: )

if only i didnt hav to go out shoppin to get some bloody nappies, i would have un-done the mounts and pulled the engine/gearbox out.

sorry no pics today, my hand were too dirty and i didnt want get my new n96 dirty :roll:

ANOTHER BIG UPDATE

i have done a deal with a mate who has a garage, he will be replacing the engine, getting in running, paintint the car, basically it car will be ready for gti spring festival (hopefully)

in return he gets the diesel mk1 and some ???

ME VERY HAPPY TODAY                          

oh and sorry to all guys who were bidding or watching the diesel on ebay.  ops:

them wheels are a bit of a mystery, i have had loads of people asking what they are, the best i have come with is MIMS. i got them of a e30 325 bmw.

my tailgate is totally knackered, im gonna need a new1, loads of rust on the inside and around where the screen sits on the inside.          

recently bought:

smoked crosshair headlamps 8)
front strut brace  8)
full set of stripes  8)
full ball and bush kit for the gearbox  8)

i wont have any money left for petrol by the time this car is ready 8O  8O
