As mentioned earlier I upgraded the wiper motor to a mk3 unit. It has been running fine but now keeps popping the fuse.
I've disconnected the motor and run it from the battery and it spins fine. The wiper mechanism had been stripped and greased so nice and smooth. All the wiring looks fine so could it be the wiper stalk needs replacing?? Is there a way to test the one I have?

Still no joy. Changed wiper stalk but as soon as I switch wipers on the fuse pops. Any one got any ideas?????
