Very happy with it. Got it direct from Rollerdor on ebay and they make to fit. The slats are double skinned aluminium and have a thick foam-filled insert.borednow said
Happy with it?
Plastic or metal?
Would you recommend the supplier?
Ian
2 year parts guarantee Painted up the old section ready for the power points to go on tomorrow. Then got to sort out the jointing on the drywall. Not looking forward to that messy job.

Think you need to have a open day for viewing when finished.

All units up and started to organise bits and pieces. Got the tilt jig out the way and supported against the wall. Tomorrow going to get the remaining garage bits in and paint the other end.

I wasn't going to mention the red marks but seeing as you have
Looking good mate. You must be well pleased with it no it's 'finished'.
Inspiration to do mine. Just got to get a flaming builder, who'd have thought it would so hard to find someone!

I didn't get to paint my walls when I moved into my new garage Dec 2017 a SWMBO wanted the shipping container removed from the front of the house. The blockwork is light grey and my Led lights are bright, so not much of an issue and I have over 30ft of racking down one wall.
I had my ceiling made of plyboard as I didn't want to bash plasterboard, I wish I hadn't as I had to paint a cars length from the entrance it due to it leaving a faint brown residue on the Golf which was a sod to get off. (It didn't seem to bother the Escort so could have been a localised problem.) Fortunately I always cover the Cabriolet roof with a sheet.
I wouldn't be without my electric roller door, it's draught proof, doesn't rattle, and I can drive up as the door opens and straight in. Sheer luxury!
