TLC project

Looking good, I love the crosshair front lights. I've got them on my Mk2 and may be tempted to go for them on the cab too.

Keep up the good work.

Well after running extreamly well all last summer I now having problems after it was taken off the road for winter. I have had it out for a few runs but now not running right. It MI's fires and running very rich.  After talking to vw I have decided to hand it over to them to tune up and set up the kjet. Their master tech actually used to service them when brand new and recons he can do it in around an hour as they still have all the equipment and the data sheets. Hopefully it will come back running like new

What happened to getting the mixture and k jet looked at?

Warm sunny weather and a cabriolet goes together rather well.

Gauges look good, oil temputue gauge is a bit high for the reading as any reading over 120 I would be worried and replacing the engine oil!

What did the gauge come from?

Congrats on passing the MOT.

Don't worry about the rain, they still work in the wet and a good time to see if the roof leaks.

Mine lives outside and is fine come rain, wind, snow and sun.

Mine does leak very slightly but that's because the rear window frame is rusted through

well been an interesting summer so far. after the joys of getting it through mot, i took it for a drive on evening and it died. had the AA come out they put in 10 litres of fuel it fired up (even tho was reading 1/4 tank before hand). got it hoe and was told possible fuel pump.  so i buy both main pump and lift pump, went to drive to garage and it died again. AA come out to tow me there but instead he fitted the new pump still wouldnt start. so he decided to fit lift pump at which point we found out there was no fuel line left attache to it. so added new fuel line bleed the system pressure checked it. bare in mind this was all done on the road side in 2 hours ( saving me a fortune) and all it cost was a tenner for the helpful chap.
now the old girl is running better than ever and now waiting for the rain to stop.

I believe they are BBS RZ 15 inch 6.5j. They need a refurb as they have a couple of marks. I was gonna fit ATS cups but decided not to in the end

Bought some more bits.
Rear badge looks lots better now.  But I got a new front gti badge but fitment is totally different.  It will deff fall off when driving so will use it for photos and shows

Also bought new rear window frame but quality is shocking so trying to replace it
