2 to 3 weeks eh ?  Are you taking any pics of it being done ?  Looking forward to seeing your mk1 in the metal.

Yep Mars Red again. I've been phoning the bodyshop to get him moving! 2 months now and the sun is coming out more regulary so I want it finished!!!

Got to ring on Thursday to see how he's doing!!! More like I'll be going in to see him!!!!

Paints done, new hood on Tuesday lunchtime. Then MOT, clean of the seats and carpet, tax and maybe I'll be at All Types for it's first ride out….

But, I'm STILL looking for a genuine VW o/s wing in good condition. The pattern one isn't really cutting it and I'm not 100% happy with it.
Anyone help please????

Thursday lunchtime, The Man tells me Thursday lunchtime for a collection!!!!

It was looking pretty good when I saw it on Friday afternoon with its new hood.

As expected after weeks of rubbing and sanding and spraying, the interior (whats left in it) will need a clean as will the engine to get rid of the grime.
I've a few small jobs under the hood to attend to (new jubilee clips, cleaning etc) then its MOT and tax and a tow bar for the AGM!!!

So will you be at the boatyard thursday?

Got a few jobs to do on it first.

I'm not going to spoil the finish just rushing it for one evening.

Maybe next month.

Passed the MOT on Tuesday.
