Don't forget new cambelt tensioner, O rings for water pump and stat, fuel filter union seals, etc, etc. You really want to be buying most of it from VW.

So today has seen new silicone hoses installed, water pump replaced along with thermostat. Oil pump replaced and the sump pan and gasket put back.
Good afternoon's work I'd say!

Tuesday should see the inlet manifold fixed to the head, new injector seats installed, head gasket in place and everything cleaned up.

It's getting closer!!!! :ocf_emoticons__icon_mrgreen:

Do you have the 27mm hex key to fit your new gearbox plug? Is the old one still in as they can be tight to get out.

I had one made which you are welcome to borrow if you want.
