Really good hard to tell if they transmit any vibration due to the rest of the car setup but they certainly restrict any movement :wink:

Got a little list of jobs for this winter and compared to the last few years it is tiny!!

Replace rear beam with powder coated one that I have

Replace Bonrath top mounts with Solid Alloy versions

Must be making progress   

Oh might have wheels powder coated white

and lookie what I did see a very early evolution!!

Corrado dash conversion imminent!! plenty of pics for this one!!

Got my trimsport rear brace after much searching and fitted it yesterday



also painted rear beam and torsion tube ready for installation this/next week



Then did a few little jobs ,replaced gearknob with Black sparco item,fitted new MoMo F1 Concept steering wheel and replaced coil with Hi-Power Micro Dynamics one

well today was going to be a quick old dash out ,new dash in day with a big help from Lee  HOWEVER we have a few issues but more of that later. So as most of you know I started with this



well 10 mins later I had this



out with the old loom in with the new took a bit more time to make sure it was a little neater this time round and then installed ,this was it was trimmed to fit round roll cage windscreen etc



Got some clearence issues with the clocks but wiring tested out all ok headlights etc all working  hopefully finish on sunday and start on rear beam

Well dash is 95 % complete now a few minor niggling issues with Fog light also swapped out my old rear beam which has been a bit strange since a brown trouser moment at the 'ring in 07, once old beam was out I compared it against new item and there was a 10mm difference in width and one of the gussett plates had a noticeable crease in it!!

Mot Prep work all completed Mot booked for Weds ,wish me luck!!!

I didnt expect it to suit it as i dont normally like any non-golf dashboards in golfs. But it does. Looks great

Rear A/R/B refitted (Rally Design came good with some Poly Bushes) went for a drive at the weekend and got caught in a bloody downpour not happy!! only the 2nd time in 7 years that the car has seen rain

Been busy collecting items for the front end rebuild, Solid Ally top mounts,seam welded wishbones new bushes through out ,should only be a days work(I hope!!)
