This is my mk1 golf that I brought 2 and a half years ago, brought the car not knowing anything about them, all I knew is that I wanted one…the car wasn't in the best of condition and failed its mot 6 months after me owning it, had a lot of work done for it to pass which was virtually all rust work, it was then resprayed and I went through a few different looks until what I have now and am happy with! Last summer it had a polo afh engine put in running on bike carbs, the old 1.3 engine was very tired after 155,000 miles. I'm now buying myself a sensible daily (as this has been my daily for almost 3 years) and garaging my mk1, I am aiming to get an eaton supercharger on it for just after Christmas! Which is going to be interesting, I've already brought the charger and a few other bits, and luckily I work in a machine shop where I can machine my own brackets etc. and I'm learning to tug weld as well! I've already made the adapters for my Porsche which was a success, so I hope the fabrication and machine for the charger goes just as well… Here is the links to my photos
