New mk2 golf front discs, 256 mm i believe without measuring, which should fit under 14 inch rims..Just need the hard to find caliper carriers,

Replacement bonnet (got rid of the original as i planned to fit a carbon bonnet) fitted, and grill loosely put in.

How much did you pay for this set up mate. I am thinking of doing the same as the standard gti height is too high for my taste. Would you recommend this combo and any issues with speed bumps?abfmk1 said

Wheel design isnt something that i worry about too much, as long as i dont hate them, size/et is more important to me. Normally I like to run wheels with an et of 35 to 38, which keeps things as designed by vw and 7 inches wide so it looks aggressive without causing other issues. Decided on a 16 inch rim as i think 195/50 looks too balloon like these days and 195/45 lowers the gearing when on a 15 inch rim. Can run 195/45 on the 16 inch which looks just right to me. Bought a set of 5 brand new with t1r,s which get a lot of bad write ups but i like them.
