U may be right Ade but I will try it in the s1 as its only got water in at the mo, so will give it a shot.

I will leave the cabby though as I do have 4 bottles of G13 :-)

Well 120 miles under its belt and the wee car was really well received at Glamis Castle show.

It really got some attention and quite rightly so.

No pics really just a couple.

2 stone chips do just ordered detailing tape for doing the front of the bonnet in future before drives.

A few small items arrived today.

Original sales brochure, detailers tape for masking off the bonnet in longer journeys to help with stone chips, 2 fire extinguishers ( 1 for each mk1 ), all sizes of spring washers, OCD snow foam and lastly and most expensively Evans waterless coolant.

I've put the spring washers on the top mounts as they were missing, put an extinguisher in each car and will do the waterless coolant sometime soon.

Talking about OCD, I know I have it to a wee degree and although I already have lots of microfibres, I just spent £70 on more yesterday for the s1 to cosset it :-)

Lambswool wash pad not mitt.
4 x 550 gsm microfibres.
2 x 600 gsm large microfibres.
20 multi purpose microfibres.
Bucket grit guard.

Used Motorgeek for most if it.

Oh and for everyone that knows the craic. Shona has a very nice Mulberry Bayswater handbag arriving ( £850 ) but its worth it to get the s1  😢

Just ordered a set of all black mats from GavB95 as already have 2 cabby sets and they are the best fit and quality that u have seen !!
