I love that car Chris had I been able to find one a couple of years back before I got LUL I would have bitten the owners hands off to own one.

My old flame OES 570 R was a 1977 1.6 5dr GLS in Metallic Blue. Fond memories of driving her on trips to the south of France and to European G Ps.

She was able to take two tents and luggage for 4 with no need for a roof rack. The impressive part was 3 of the passengers were female and you know how much luggage they take on holiday!!

Enjoy.  I anticipate no moans on this car or does that start one you get back from your hols??

Very nice car but I would probably be cancelling my holiday, buying my own deckchair and then plonking myself infront of it just admiring the beauty!

Goly The Golf, a 1983 5dr 1.3cl having a full resto.
Cherub, a 1985 Mk2 Polo Breadvan.

Remember the moaning is all show and sarcasm ( sometimes frustration  :$ )

I think that there will be no moans with this car as it will be the bomb  :wub:Chris

Need the hols tbh but kmow what you mean.

My next 5 weekends comprise of this -

Saw something in Worthersee and immediately thought of you. A part that is just the ticket for the final touch to any car of a VW fanatic such as yourself.

It is a mutli purpose part equally at home on a GLS or Sportline !!!

Will hand it over to you at Glamis.

Congratulations.  I had been in touch with the owner myself as I was keen to buy it, but you beat me to it, in getting a deposit down.  I'll keep an eye out for it in Edinburgh.  Whats happening to your GX?
