DUBSTAR'S PROJECT - Weiß Hase - 1976 Golf LS

Post

I am based in Melbourne, Australia and have been around here (and CGTI) for quite a while.  I thought it was about time that I introduced my 1976 LS, called Andy.

I have owned Andy for about 6 years and have been slowly working him up to the current state.   I have previously done brakes, suspension and interior and I just finished the engine conversion.

Here are a few pics:

I have a build thread located here: http://www.vask.org.nz/index.php/topic,28087.0.html

From these pictures you've got a cracking looking Mk1 there, well done! ;)

You might want to have a look at your build thread because photo bucket is displaying these graphics, which is where they have screwed millions of users by now charging $300 per year to host photos! :(

Here's one they posted.

Thanks for the welcome.

I was going to update the links on build thread, but now there is a plug-in for google chrome that automatically fixes that, if you install it, they will work.

Maybe our software Guru Ade has an idea lhasadreams but he's extremely busy at the moment so it might take some time for him to get back to you!

I used a similar workaround to get all the images to appear. But then I went one step further and downloaded them all (76,000) to our local server and now host them from there.

People keep finding work arounds to make them appear and Photobucket keep closing the backdoors - the Chrome plugin will not work for long…

Cheers,
Ade
