mk1 golf gti cabriolet person/garage recommendation - Worcester/Kidderminster area

My car won't start which I believe is due to electrical issues.  Any recommendations for someone to look at it around Worcester/Kidderminster ? Will travel up to 50 miles for the right person.  I have a car trailer so can deliver the car plus a good sized garage if it helps.  Did try Bert on here but I think he's struggling for time/space.  Shame as he was the guy I wanted to use.      

Have you had any luck finding someone or getting it started? Although my car currently runs, I know I'm going to have some electrics issues when I start unpicking what's been done to it! I'm in Tenbury so would be interested to know if you find someone nearby 

Did you ever find a golf friendly garage in the area? I'm in Worcester and could do with a mechanic to help get my GTI running and serviced for its MOT.

Ok so this is a year old but came across it looking for a mk1 specialist in Birmingham…. 

I've been to Volkstop in Worcester a couple of times, Ben who runs it is very passionate about the classic VWs! 

Now to find one closer to me 😂
