Perfect view

No mate , not a special edition , just a 1800 witch has been sold at the start with a BBS body kit. You can find the same body kit on the Golf gti Oettinger , but mine is stuck on the body , there are no seals between body and kit.  

I thought it was the oettinger I've been looking at them there going for between £30-£40k so rare .looks the part though beautiful mate well done…

Oettinger is just too much expensive , and the engine needs attention permanently ,

Mine is equiped with a Cresson engine , just do a search , you'll find informations easily.

Mine after 10 years in the parents garage,
Dad was using the bonnet as a work bench! He did keep the tyres pumped up though!





Complete with rat nest in air box.




And now after i finally rescued it.

That must have taken some serious elbow grease to get it looking that clean and tidy!

Elbow grease, bicarbonate of soda, primer paint and lacquer!

Personally i think this is the " perfect view ".

That is not so much a garage as a shrine to all things petrol-head !!  Love it.
