Hopefully my last injection tomorrow, see my Consultant Oncologist on Monday and if it's still going to plan five and a half weeks of radiotherapy starting in a month. Weird, I've never felt better and this is for the weekend.

 It's my wife I feel sorry for as she's a worrier.

But get your PSA checks guys when you hit your forties, Prostate cancer is sneaky, crept up on me in December. I'm 62 and it might be a close run thing as the bad bits were close to escaping. (still might have, will find out some time next month)

Im 44 mate and i have a regular health check ,your a brave man mate ,im glad your prognosis is good ive just lost my mum so having my own battles too, I'm Sending you my best mate ,

Sorry about your Mum, the sadness will ease but the good memories will stay solid.

 There is no bravery here, but I know if something is out of my control that worrying isn't going to help. Maybe having being a cop and dealing with a fair bit of other peoples deaths at the messy end makes you somewhat fatalistic.

Thanks mate i was a hmp prison officer myself for 7 years so saw a lot of rubbish too,i take it your retired from the force ? What do you mean by fatalistic?
