In the last two days my assistant and work buddy have both resigned (new jobs they've really wanted and they're going at a great time), and I've had to contend with screaming clients and candidates (through no fault of our own it turns out - which is nice).

Talk of heavy metal reminds me of how useful that was when I moved into this old derelict farmhouse years and years ago.
After moving in it quickly became apparent that the house was infested with rats under the floor boards, (they had been there for years-it was 'home'), and no amount of poison (there's another name!) or trapping would shift themwhich meant you would be chilling and the buggers would be squeeking and chewing their way through the floor to get to you…ugh.Had them running about in the room too
Solution?? -
Set my new separates   to loop and put the ACE OF SPADES!! track on loop then, put the system to MAXIMUM through my huge Mordant Short speakers… (Me and the dog had to get away quick after locking the door as our ears were almost bleeding)…and so it blasted out all day…ACE OF SPADES.

-Never had another rat again!!!! (or friendly neighbours…)

So I can vouch that FACT- rats don't like Motorhead Happy Christmas!

What the hell do you do for a living?! At the moment I'm seeing some type of Alan Sugar type thing but dealing with shadowy underworld figures currently trying to take over the Triads or something    
Must be a growth industry, what with an Assistant and everything!?

Strange, we used to have pet rats. They liked rock music. Maybe ours just had taste. One of them used to also like Guinness too. He'd climb up the sofa and onto my shoulder, run along my arm and dip his front paw into my pint. If it was lager or bitter he'd just run off and and investigate other stuff. If it was Guinness he'd sit there for a while enjoying it. Quite funny when he'd jump off and miss what he was aiming for!

He was called Brian.

Professional bell end.  Turns out I'm pretty good at it.

I work in recruitment and specialise in Hospitality.  Was a nightclub manager for ten years then trained apprentices for about nine.  Came into this as I missed the adrenaline.  It can be pretty mental at times as we're all on call all the time (I have people out on Christmas day).  people think we just sit behind a desk and it's easy but it really isn't.
Run a team of twelve here (the promotion i was talking about) and we all have our own specialties.
Both people that are leaving have been struggling a bit and now was definitely the best time to go.  Like them both but really didn't want to be sitting down with them next year telling them they need to sort their act out.  You either live for the job or you get out.
Still, cracking day ahead.  I'm the first in so I've got the coffee on for everyone and I'm ordering them all breakfast as a surprise.
We'll crack on then I'll close the office at three and take them all for a christmas pint.

Tried the sporify link with wife's poverty spec login via Facebook. It does find the playlist allows you to shuffle…and see list. Then if you follow the list it allows you to add a track….

Keep plodding along to the 100 or so tracks that now fill the list.Even shuffled there's some good tunes
