Mk1 Gti specialist in S.Wales

I have owned this car since 1985. Unfortunately the car has not been used for the last 5 years so therefor the MoT has expired. The car has been stored in my dry garage  and has been started every few months just to keep the oil and water circulating, but the car has not been driven. As the title of this topic says, i'm looking for a garage, 'preferable a MK1 specialist, who can give this car a pre MoT check, to see what is required to get this car back on the road. 

If you are going to have to transport the car you are as well just taking it to the MOT centre and putting it for a test. The cost is likely to be the same. You will then have the testers opinion of what needs to be done. It's always easy to check and repair any lights not working, check the wipers work and clear the screen. If you are able to clean up the brakes do that, have a look underneath it and check for any heavy rusting and a look over the brake pipes to see how they look.
