Rats! Just joined and learnt my car is an MK2

 I just joined this Club because I want to sell my 1989 Golf Cabrio (before London Ulez prevents me from driving it without great cost) and wanted to find out what it is worth. Now I discover it is a Mk2 ! Does that mean I joined for nothing? I think I read somewhere that sales ads are only permitted for MK1's?

The VW Golf Cabrio continued to based on the the MK1 design/running gear until the 1993 nearly 10 years after european MK1 manufacture end. There was no Mk2 based Cabrio. The MK3 Golf based cabrio was released in 1993.

So you have a MK1 Golf Cabrio that was sold along side MK2 Hatches
