Hi all is there anybody in the Birmingham area willing to give advice as I am not very clued up when comes to engines cheers all.

Need advice as to why after having a gearbox new clutch and gearshift repair kit I am still finding it hard to select gears on my mk1 cabriolet im sorry to I ain't got a clue of what to do so any one local to Birmingham to help would be very very appreciated cheers all. P.s.  need her on road asap.

I had the same problem - gear linkage was out of alignment - easy to do once you are under there.  I'm in Sutton Coldfield

Hi mate bit cheeky I know but is this something you'd be able to help me out with not very good at those sort of things unfortunately I'm not to far away only in nechells would be a big weight of my shoulders desperate now as man who fitted repair kit us refusing to put it right. Cheers rich
