Description:
Bought this car a few months ago as a potential easy project to get back on the road as I was told it was a GTI. It is actually a Golf Clipper with a GTI 16V engine dropped in.  It is a non runner and would suit someone who would put back on the road.  I don't have the space or time to do it myself currently so regretfully I have to let her go.

Good bits:
Interior is good for age
Roof works and has not tears or holes
Visually I thought it was a nice car.  There are some small bits of rust but the shell is overall a solid example.
It has a 16V engine already but It doesn't start.  I had dropped it transported to a garage in MK and he has said that the fuel lines are still set up for a carb and not injection.  I wanted the garage to do the work of putting on bike carbs but he has said it is not worth me paying him to do it as it would be uneconomical, hence why I am selling.
Car has coilover setup all round
Rear brakes have been converted to disc brakes

Bad bits:
No MOT since May 2013
My mechanic has said the conversion requires fuel lines changing to cope with fuel injection.  The fuel tank is already converted to fuel injection.
Car is on steel wheels with all tyres need replacing.  I have a set of refirbed alloys with new tyres but would sell those for an additional £300.
Car will need to be trailered away from the garage in Milton Keynes.
Front anti-roll bar is not connected and I managed to get from the previous owner.  I have left it with the car.
I will need some cleaning up of the body wotk to make it look mint.  The bonnet will require a respray.
