hi all! new mk1 caddy owner/s

new to the forum with recently purchasing a 1989 mk1 caddy which me and girlfriend went halves on for a project! looking to have it ready for summer and shows! little welding and new floor pans then full respray and cosmetic tweaks, not new to vw scene as used to own mk4 R32 ans am part of r320c.com!will post few pics later of how it stands now,
we are looking forward to making a couple of shows and meets this year and are based in surrey so any local clubs shout!
