Up for sale and have friend who is interested.

This car is up for sale at a dealer, references to concours show entries and our club badges and rally plaques from 2011.  Have a friend who is interested but it's a long way away, dies anyone recognise it or remember who owned it, says changed hands in 2013.

Does look nice in the old pics but just shows that MK1s are now just an investment commodity, not a Peoples Car to be actually driven and used……

Thanks Early-1800 , my friend is after a car to keep forever, just spent £15k having a Mk2 Golf restored as a car he would never sell, only to have it written off by some idiot just minutes after he drove it out of the restorers.

Doesn't look crazy £ from stealer, but nice Mk2s still come up at half the asked £14,000…..

Back in the day, my brothers father-in-law collected his new company MK2 Jetta and never got the car home, being T-bone'd by a Mini just after leaving the garage.
