Project bogey man. It's legal :-)

Well seems like i have been suckered in to getting another project, this time its a gti tintop (without a sunroof)

It has had a full resto 4 years ago and has sat the same since then. I went with a open mind as i have seen some of the 2 year ago resprays (shoddy) and to my surprise its MINT.

Came with more parts than you can shake a stick at, including full new chrome work, full poly bush kit, braded lines, 1/2 leather recaros, 2 interiors, boxes and boxes of hubs/calipers etc all stripped and painted, everything bia a engine and box. (well it has a portes G60 head with lairy cam) lol

Plans are 1.8 8v on twin 40's, lowered on ap coilovers, G60 steels with chrome caps, cl rear spats, retro look and feel really.

Oh and fingers crossed it will be at the AGM!! ill be busy!!! lol

Anyway some pics (will be pic heavy when its delivered)

Not yet Mark, took it to Nick Thorpe the boat builder, he's got a 1.3 mk1 running fine so he's going to play swapping bits till it works.

I'm still after a pair of 40's for the mechano kit I bought from you if you find any available.

Did you buy those wheels?
