Well done for taking on what can only be described as a rot box
takes some effort to see beyond the rot
To custom for me but hats off to you

Man respect for taking that on but it's worth saving a S1. Loving the black engine finish, something i've always wanted to do.

Cool , its looking good mate ! So did you mig all along the line then grind it back ??

Ive got two new sills to weld in and i really dislike all the low down clutter too .

The chrome trim and bodyline recess is just too much on such a simple car .. I`m thinking of trimming out the sills on the car just shy of the line on them , planishing it flat than over lapping the new sills with the line flattened out too . Seems like a lot of work but the result you have got looks much much better than stock !

alright matey,
it is a hell of alot of work. mig it all, ground bock, body fillered smoothed. probably took over a week to achieve. i didnt like the original sill edge after putting sill on and completeing it as standard so chopped it all out and smoothed. are you using a roll over jig. makes life easier
