Black Mk1 - SMU***Y- Sainsbury's in Rhyl!

Hey whoever you are, i was in the black ibiza cupra parked in front of you. Would love to know more about the car im guessing its a 20v conversion because of the intercooler behind the grille! Im trying to get some info before starting my own 20v conversion on my 83 black mk1!

P.s. i did stare at it for a good while!

That sounds like Kins' old Golf! Pretty sure it was on the standard engine when he had it.

I did do a quick search but didnt find much, looks pretty different to that now! Im sure i saw it for sale quite recently on e38/pistonheads but cant find it now

yes tis a 20vt  what an engine old skool cool with modern mechanicals its the only way to go! if you want a look its no problem im local.just pm me   :roll:

Awesome i knew id seen the car somewhere before! Couldnt believe my eyes when i saw it, exactly what im doing to mine was right there in front of me! Im back in south wales now, was only in rhyl for a uni placement. But id love to have a read if you've got a project thread?
