Looks tidy. Worth the estimate?

It looks from what we can see very nice but I'm not convinced it's going to make that much money (15 - 20k).

Don't forget there's another 15% on top of the sale price for the Auctioneer!

But then again it's Bonham's and it's at BEAULIEU, NATIONAL MOTOR MUSEUM just 72 Hours after the death of Lord Montague.

Just that fact should bring some extra fat wallets and interest sniffing around!

I think Yomp makes a good point.  

To a certain extent the prices have been pushed up and inflated for three main reasons.

1. Just hit 40, wait till the magical 50!
2. Good or half decent ones becoming much harder to find.
3. The investment angle.
     No point in leaving your money to make money in the bank because it won't at the moment.
     Small, medium and large investors and to some extent private individuals want there money to make money.
     Whether they've got 10k, 100k or a million.

Painting and art in general have gone through the roof since the start of the financial crash etc…

Where better to put your money now and where else can you get such a return in say 5 or 10 years time!
Then the money markets we be back (it's starting to go that way) and the bubble will burst like it did in the 80's.

Well that's the way I see it.

That's precisely what a lot of people are doing. 

I see a lot of Mod parts coming up for sale over here.

One, the reason you mention and secondly there's talk of changing the law over here.  Which could dramatically reduce what Mod's you can have. 

That is turn is pushing the prices of original parts even higher then the normal market price.
Which is high enough already!
