GTi rear bump stop length

Rebuilding my rear struts and have found there are two rear bump stops available.

171 512 131 A     -   71MM length -"for heavy duty shock absorbers" - Jetta, Scirocco, Golf
171 512 131 B    -   89MM length - Golf

I have the correct GTi shocks 171 513 033P but which is the correct bump stop length???????????????  Those that came off were the 71mm but the strut had been rebuilt in the past.

I am restoring to standard GTi suspension with a set of the correct GTi VW springs and want the correct GTi ride height - not lowered!

Any thoughts??????????
