brakes sticking

i put the bigger servo and 22 m/c into my golf some time ago and only getting round to using it now.but when driving the car the brakes seem to start sticking on and the brake pedal get solid and brake lights stick on.i took pipe off the inlet manifold but it did nothing, brakes seem to free up when i park up for 5 mins.i did when fitting the servo cut down the thread and put the mk1 pin on all the way to back off servo.
was reading that the linkage across the bulk head needs to be adjusted.just wondering will this solve the problem and hows it done

cheers

When replacing the servo, you have to set the Free-Play on the rod that connect the Pedal to the servo.

If it is too long, it can activate the MC full time including the brake switch.  If it is too short, then the pedal feels spongier than normal.

I know that on RHD there is a difference in the adjustment than I normally see on a LHD.
