Sticky tyres-what do you reccomend?

Hi,  I always fitted sticky Yoko or Toyo to my Golfs (Mk1/2) and now need a sticky tyres for my VR6 Corrado as the presently fitted Continentasl premium Contact which do not hold on when pushing it!
I am tempted by the good old Toyo Proxes T1R BUT their may (?) be a more modern Tyre that you lot use which has oustanding  dry grip a real sports tyre type. Size is 205/50/15.
If you could let me know what you rate that would be good.

My advise Is to stay away from T1R.
Had some on a newer fiesta and they where useless. Okay in the dry but ditchfinders in the wet
A friend of mine runs a NS2R on his 300bhp cupra and they are sticky tyres. ( Often find clumps of road stuck to the tyres after a spirited driver)
I have also heard good things about AD08R.
The crème de la crème appear to be R888R although I have never tested them personally
